    We are Gina of Gina Cristine Photography and Tara of Tara Kennedy Photography and are proud to announce our newest adventure in photography : Gina+Tara Photography {Couture Wedding Photography for the Modern Couple}.

    Like all relationships our friendship started with a common interest: photography and documenting life as it is ... in it's purest form using natural light and a lifestyle approach. As we both started talking and having playdates with our little ones we realized the need for true artistic, couture, lifestyle wedding photographers in the Chicagoland area.

    We starting shooting weddings together this year and fell in love ... with the weddings, the couples, the day, and working with each other. Knowing that we are now both hooked on weddings, Gina+Tara Photography was created.

Heather + Josh | Chicago Wedding Photography

When Heather and Josh got their wedding pictures back from their original wedding day and original wedding photographer {not us}, they were less than happy. Heather contacted us months later wondering if a re-creation of their day was possible or even a session that would allow them to get all gussied up again to take some redo pictures. dressed up and take couple pictures again. We were thrilled!

We {Gina + Tara} are starting to notice a trend in day after or even months/years after wedding photography. The trends in wedding photography have changed so much even since our weddings 4-5 years ago. We also have to say that the stress level of doing the artistic and creative pictures on a different day then the actual wedding is more relaxing and fun. Many brides and grooms choose to add on a “The Day After” session to their wedding packages to accomplish these kinds of shots in a more relaxed environment.

Natalie of ZuZu’s Petals whipped up the beautiful flowers for the couple. Heather’s parents’ home was the perfect setting for this shoot . . . and Clementine, Heather’s Ford pickup she built with her Dad, was a fabulous prop.

Heather and Josh were so fun to work with and obviously had a sense of humor as well as plenty of romance and love to share. Thank you Heather and Josh for allowing us to recapture your love!

Lindsey & Sean | Chicago Wedding Photography

Lindsey & Sean’s wedding day was full of gorgeousness.  All of the green and yellow make us both swoon.  And Lindsey, are you kidding us with your beautiful self?!  You just look to die for in so many of these shots!  Sean, you too!  We had such a blast at your wedding and wish you both all the best for years and years and years to come!

Without further ado, we present the newlyweds,  LINDSEY & SEAN:

And here we have Mr. Sean, in all his handsomeness.  We especially love that he gave a little puppy love before his big day too!

Really, Sean…you are killing us with this…can we say GQ??!

JUST GORGEOUS…have we said gorgeous too many times yet?!

And now onto details…we love little details and we really love yellow and green!

The wheatgrass placecard holder concept has to be one of the coolest things we have seen in a long time.  So fresh and clean and inviting.

Onto some great looks.  Not quite sure what Sean was smirking about, but we love it.  And we also love Lindsay’s loving eyes when she is looking at Sean.  So sweet!

Hungry anyone?  This picture sure makes us drool.

Another one of our favorites….Lindsay giving her little bro a kiss.  And he really does look to be enjoying it.

We pride ourselves on a providing the most artistic and beautiful custom photography possible. We believe that the photographs from your wedding day are one of the most important investments of your wedding day.  These photographs will memorialize the events of the day as they unfold — from the details of the amazing gowns, to the precious petals of each bouquet, boutonniere, and centerpiece, to the first glance of the bride by the groom, to the heartfelt vows, to the first kiss, to the toasts, to the first dances, and finally an amazing celebration with family and friends.
